Pimp My Ride!

In a world where there are a bewildering number of ways to promote your business, it can be a problem knowing where to start. This is exactly how I feel. 

My Doodles Accounting and Bookkeeping practice is my first real stab at running my own grown up business. At times it is easy to feel lost when such subjects as 'advertising' and 'marketing' enter my 'to do list'.

I have invested time and effort in to building a website, and of course there's the bread and butter Facebook page and LinkedIn pages. These are good 'free' ways of getting my business out there, but both can take time to find their own energy. 

I got to thinking about more 'old school' ways to spread my business and hit upon getting my car sign written. Having cleared it with my insurance company that there would be no issues in doing so, I reached out to Spalding based Sign Design and through emails between us, we came up with just what I wanted. All I had to do was drop off the car and let them do their magic. This only took a few hours which was a perfect amount of time to walk my three Labradoodles that inspired my 'Doodles' business name.

I am so pleased with the results, so much so that our run-around 'dog bus' car was also sent to Sign Design a week later for my Doodle branding.

Unlike the tax world that is quickly going digital and all online, it is good to know that sometimes you can still tick something off from your 'to do list' with a much more real world and cost effective approach.
